We are the voice of the solar industry in Abuja and Nigeria at large. We embody the innovation and entrepreneurship that rightly defines solar energy in Nigeria.
Our trade association represents over 60 corporate and individual members across the entire solar supply chain.
ASSDIA seeks to promote and protect the interests of over 2,000 companies engaged in the solar industry and more than 200,000 Nigeria workers they employ – directly and indirectly.
ASSDIA strongly supports fair and free trade of solar equipment to grow Nigeria solar energy industry by attracting favourable exchange rate for imports of solar equipment we cannot produce locally. ASSDIA is in partnership with ENERGY COMMISSION OF NIGERIA and an active member of Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
Along with our members and allies, we advocate for a transition to a clean energy economy at the Federal, State and Local Government levels.
At ASSDIA, we have ambitious goal: renewable energy will reach 10% of all electricity generation in Nigeria by 2030.
